WINEMAKER COMMENTS: BEN MILLER

VINTAGE CONDITIONS: Solid winter rainfall preceded a mild and dry spring allowing the vines to flourish with healthy and balanced canopies. Mild and dry conditions continued through the growing season and produced grapes with succulent natural acidity and outstanding depth and complexity of flavour.

GRAPE VARIETY: Chardonnay

MATURATION: This wine was fermented in 40% new and 60% one and two year old French oak barriques. Stirred on lees for 8 months before bottling.

COLOUR: Gleaming straw green

NOSE: Elegant pink grapefruit and lemon curd with a complexing flint note. Lemon vanilla and beeswax oak aromas promise an intriguing and flavoursome wine.

PALATE: Tightly woven folds of white stone fruit and fresh citrus drive a layered and textural palate, Partial MLF and subtle chalky pith frame this generous and richly flavoured wine. Energetic, supple and deeply satisfying

VINEYARD REGION: Margaret River

This wine was fermented in 50% new and 50% one and two-year-old French oak barriques. It was stirred on lees for eight months before bottling. Full of opulent and generous white peach and toasty brioche flavours, this wine has a natural grapefruit freshness and vibrancy. In true Margaret River style this a wine of richness and poise, balancing intense stone fruits with textural vanilla undertones.
